If you are replacing an existing shower which is gravity fed it could be an option to have this fitted with a pump to increase the pressure, or force however if you have a mains feed this be an unlikely option. Mains fed system, likely in an installation featuring a combination boiler, does not restrict your choice of Aqualisa shower and we will be happy to inspect your water system before you decide on your new shower which can save expense at a later date. The range of showers comprise of three basic types, these are the Aqualisa Thermo, Aqualisa Digital and Aqualisa Electric shower. Thermo showers trace their origins back to a feature on the BBC Tomorrows World programme when the Aqualisa patented bi-metal temperature control was demonstrated. This is at the heart of all Aqualisa Thermo showers and gives accurate water temperature control at all times.

All the Aqualisa Thermo products can be fitted as exposed or concealed showers. Exposed Thermo showers can be fitted directly on to the wall without the need to excavate the wall, but Thermo shower’s controls are normally larger and could encroach upon a small showering area. Concealed Thermo showers have their valves fitted into the wall which has to be excavated to accommodate the shower’s valve and is a good choice for a smaller showering enclosure where every inch of space matters.

Digital showers on the other hand are a recently developed product from Aqualisa introduced by them in 2001. Aqualisa digital showers show you when the water is at your chosen temperature and also offer remote control or wireless option which means that you are not drenched with cold water when setting the control. Digital showers also are offered in exposed or concealed options, exposed versions use the shower head slider rail to dispense the blended water meaning there is no need to damage your wall or tiling. We will be happy to discuss the best option with you.

A popular method which is simple and economical is the Electric range from Aqualisa, these heat the water for you as it is required and is quick and simple to install and provides a continuous supply of water, at a rate of up to 15 litres per minute. There are two performance ratings will the Aqualisa Quartz Electric range for optimum performance all year round.
