Originating in Portugal in 1904, in a small workshop manufacturing hand made household locks and hardware, the company was named CIF, Centro Industrial de Ferragens and from these small beginnings this International Company has grown in strength through the high quality of its bathroom products, further strengthened by the sheer beauty of the design of the products that it makes. Employing designers not only from Europe but worldwide, Cifial has products that are sought by bathroom and kitchen designers looking for that extra something for their clients.

With over a century of plumbing and hardware manufacturing experience, always placing the emphasis on product development and creative design, Cifial has received several prestigious international awards such as Design Plus, Good Design, and Red Dot. Through their heritage of metalworking, Cifial employs state-of-the-art casting, forging, machining, and finishing technology to create luxurious designs ranging from plumbing and bath accessories to door and cabinet hardware.
