Product Features:
Raychem self-regulating heating cables automatically adjust their power output to compensate for temperature changes.
The outer jacket, braid and inner jacket provide mechanical, chemical and electrical protection.
As the ambient temperature drops, the core contracts microscopically and the number of electrical paths through the core increases with more heat being produced.
Conversely, as the ambient temperature rises, the core expands and has fewer electrical paths therefore less heat is produced.
Several leading European wooden floor manufactures have intensively tested Raychem T2Red and T2Reflecta and have certified that they are safe for use under temperature sensitive wooden floors.
Self adhering, low profile floor heating mat for installation immediately under ceramic tiles or natural stone.
T2QuickNet 90 is sold as complete pack consisting of a pre-terminated floor heating cable installed on a fiberglass mat and NRG thermostat controller.
A suitable tile backer board or thin layer of insulation may be installed under the underfloor heating to optimize heat up times and efficiency.
The floor on which the tiles and underfloor heating are installed should be flat, stable and suitable for tiling.
Most flexible tile adhesives are compatible with underfloor heating and these should be used.
For rooms with a complicated shape, the cable can be easily loosened from the net to cover all areas.
