Production of ceramic products by Jika for bathrooms can trace its origins back to the 19th century, the oldest in continental Europe at Znojmo, the figural and decorative elements produced were a testament to the remarkable skills of the local craftsmen. Another first for the Znojmo craftsmen was the production of produce kiln-fired washbasins, bathtubs and sinks. Today, JIKA products are manufactured in two Czech factories in Bechyn? and Znojmo.
