There is nothing more satisfying than stepping out of your luxurious bath onto a warm and welcoming floor. Not only is it comforting for your feet. Yet, it also keeps the bathroom or kitchen nice and warm and at a regulated temperature.

Having underfloor heating is not a new idea if you have ever visited Hadrian’s Wall area, or the Roman Baths, at Bath. Here, you can see evidence of how the Romans (post 52BC) used underfloor heating in their living quarters and baths. We have a lot to thank the Romans for.

Back in the modern age; things are done much differently to back then. 

Now we have neat heating mats or wires. These are placed underneath a variety of floor finishes such as a bathroom or kitchen tiles. Ideally beneath the tiles of a wetroom floor. This keeps the floor beautifully dry as well as maintaining the room temperature.

Underfloor heating in a bathroom area is very efficient and is controlled by a thermostat to the level which is comfortable for you.
