Crosswater Design 8 Offset Single Door Quadrant Shower Enclosure
The Design 8 offset quadrant enclosure by market leading bathroom brand Crosswater is a superb choice. The range of features and build quality on offer are stunning and offer real value for money. The enclosure has a lifetime guarantee and is supplied with an easy clean coating inside and out and thanks to its reversible design it can be installed as either a left or right hand enclosure.
The door section is 6mm (curved glass is slightly thinner due to the manufacturing technique of bending glass) and the surrounding sections are 8mm thick, all toughed safety glass with the easy clean coating. The enclosure is 1950mm tall excluding the tray, you can install this with the matching Crosswater shower trays or this unit is also suitable for installation on wet room floors.
The clean and simple design of the Design 8 range allows for the enclosure to be happily installed alongside a huge range of different style bathroom furniture and wall and floor options making this a smart choice for almost any bathroom design! The door has a magnetic seal and opens outwards, hinged to the main panel section with soft action hinges – a superb enclosure at a very attractive price! True value for money from a leading brand.

Looks lovely & feels very much larger than our previous shower enclosure, despite being on the same footprint. Easy to clean, does not seem to have 'water traps' that will scale up with our hard water. However, the longer glass panel does not quite feel as robust as I might have liked, and the instructions for fitting the sealant strips are not sufficiently clear to ensure they can only fit the correct way round, so I have one strip that wasn't fitted properly at first, then trimmed to fit but had to turn it to work correctly & now is 1cm short, thus the hinged part of the door 'oozes' a little at the bottom. But am generally pleased with the new shower.By Kim P -
