Switching flow from the diverter allows you to switch the function from the bath filler spout across to the handset shower head. This is particularly useful for cleaning the bath but also for rinsing hair or simple body showering. The bath filler spout will fill your bath quickly and effectively, requiring higher pressure to do so as the tap is floor mounted it will require pressure of 3 bars and above to perform well.
