This wetroom pack was developed exclusively for UK Bathrooms with wedi, offering you a 100% waterproof wet room or bathroom shower base ready for tiling. This pack is designed for installation on wooden floors, as it features the 1200 x 900mm Fundo Ligno tray former which was especially developed for UK properties with wooden floorboards. The wedi Fundo Ligno base is designed to adapt to covering the wooden layer of floor without having to cut into floor joists, and can also be used to build up the floor level in conjunction with additional wedi boards to build out the floor area. The Fundo Ligno shower base features point drainage this means it slopes towards the waste area for quick dispersal of waste shower water, and is especially designed for installation within timber joist flooring. The tray size is 1200 x 900mm, one of the most popular shower sizes.

Also included in the pack are 2 x 2.5m tall wedi boards for walls. These are 1200 and 900mm in width respectively, allowing you to create a 100% waterproof corner shower area. You will require tiles in addition, and your choice of wet room glass shower screen, you could either create a walk in shower or a wet room area depending on your requirements, additional wedi tile backer boards can be purchased to build out the area to your required measurements. Also included in the kit are galvanised fixings, these are included for installations where you would fit the board to a substrate or underlying structure such as timber frames. Wedi advise to use 5 of these per square meters for standard tiles, or 8 per square meter for heavy stone tiles.

Another feature in this pack is the wedi Fundo drain substructure, this section sits under the waste and supports the base in this section providing reinforcement and support for complete peace of mind. As it removes the need to cement in your waste it not only cuts down on installation time, but also makes the shower base area lighter which is ideal for timber floor installations. The other advantage of the waste support piece is future ease of access, it is made from tough and lightweight wedi xps which is impervious to water.
