Our delivery service is designed to get your items to you in the best possible condition as quickly as possible. Don’t leave things to chance, use the experts.
Moving bathroom goods around the country can be a tricky business, as they are generally large, awkward, fragile and high-value items that are needed on building sites, or checked and stored until they are required. We have for the past 13+ years been refining and developing how we deliver your bathroom goods. We are confident we are uniquely positioned to offer a service unparalleled to anyone else. Our goal is always to make sure your delivery is as smooth as possible. Below is a full guide of what to expect from your delivery:
We are a Yorkshire based company, so we were born to sniff out value for money. Having worked with a multitude of delivery companies over the years we believe we now have the best couriers for the job at the best price.
Our delivery charges are based on the item, its size and the brand. We might charge you the above delivery charges but in reality, it costs us far more to deliver bathroom equipment around the country. We subsidise the majority of deliveries to ensure that our prices are competitive and you are getting value for money, it’s a fine balance between discounting the item and discounting the delivery.
As of January 1st 2021 the United Kingdom has left the European Union, because of this we will no longer be delivering internationally or within Europe at this time. We will resume international delivery in the future but until then we currently only deliver to Mainland UK and the British Isles (The Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Orkney, Shetland and Outer Hebridies, etc) and Northern Ireland.

We have a delivery charge on each product page. If you click the “More Info” link near the delivery section you will see the charge for that singular item. As you add items to your basket your total delivery charge will be automatically calculated. No matter how much you add to the basket, you will never be charged more than £44.95 (UK Mainland only, not including northern Scotland) for a delivery. So if you are planning to do your entire bathroom, why not get everything in one place, in one go and save a fortune on carriage (that’s the Yorkshireness in us coming out again).
In some instances, it is possible to collect your order from our warehouse in Yorkshire. This would need to be discussed prior to purchase as we need to establish the availability of the goods you require. Goods generally will not be available on the same day as purchase and we would need to arrange a collection date for you.
Due to the nature of the products we sell it is not possible for us to store everything, we have a large warehouse based in Ripon but if we were to stock all the possible sizes, colours, shapes, styles and variations of the products we sell we wouldn’t just need a large warehouse in Ripon, we would need a warehouse the size of Ripon. We currently have 40,000+ products on the site so we can be confident you are going to find what you need for your installation.
We aim to have most of our items delivered to you within 2 to 5 working days. We advertise on each product page an estimated lead time based on our previous sales of that item. We hold stock of the most popular items we sell, for other items we have developed a very close relationship with the manufacturers and national suppliers of the brands we sell in order to offer you the most competitive shipping times.
Your delivery charge includes one single delivery for all of your goods. As you are adding items to your basket your estimated lead time would be based on the item that will take the longest to come into stock. As soon as you place the order you will receive a confirmation email which will confirm the overall estimated delivery time for your order. If you need your order delivering in stages, just speak to our team and we can look at options for you.
Our delivery times are estimates based on the best information we have. We work with all of our suppliers to be as accurate as possible but unforeseen stock issues can occur. If there are any delays we will update you as soon as we are aware of them. We constantly monitor your order and if it looks like we will not be able to meet the delivery estimate we will contact you and let you know about the delay and look at alternative solutions if we can. We appreciate time is a factor for some items and we will always try to do our best with deliveries, we would, however, recommend avoiding booking fitters until you have received and checked the goods you require to avoid any problems; we know a good fitter is like gold dust!
Our main concern is to get your items to you in perfect working order. To do this we use bio-degradable bubble wrap, recycled boxes and sustainable timber as there doesn’t have to be a difference between a secure delivery and an environmentally friendly delivery, as sustainability is at the heart of what we are about. If you have ever been to Yorkshire you know it’s God’s own county and we want to make sure we keep it that way for every generation.
Most manufacturers provide a box for their products, although some of our ceramics are sent without packaging. We do re-use packaging and we generally will provide another layer of packaging to help ensure everything arrives as it should. If you receive a box with a different brand on it, we might be recycling a box, just look inside and you should see the correct box and item.
With some larger deliveries, we use a pallet company. Due to the nature of some of the products which are essentially building materials, this is unavoidable. We build a custom A-frame timber pallet out of sustainable timber. The pallet is part and parcel of your delivery of those goods. We would be unable to come back and take the pallet away, but your fitters can easily re-use the pallet or break it down.
For all of our large deliveries coming directly from our warehouse, we photograph the order leaving. This is so we can be sure the correct items have left and the goods are leaving in the correct condition.
We sell a diverse array of bathroom equipment from small shower components, fragile ceramics to large heavy shower enclosures. Having the right courier to do the job means we have to use a variety of different providers to get your goods to you.
Due to the relationship with have crafted with national suppliers and manufacturers in some instances, we can have goods sent directly from their warehouses using their own transport or couriers. We cannot do this for every item and it is a decision we will make to speed your goods up. When we are shipping goods from suppliers or manufacturers they will contact you with the delivery arrangements. You will know when to expect your goods.
Some of our smaller items are sent using the courier DPD. When we send items by DPD you will receive a confirmation email and a text message confirming your delivery, which will also give you an hour delivery slot. You will also have options on the email and text to modify your delivery directly with DPD. For services that require an extra charge, you may be referred back to our sales team to take the payment.
Palletline is one of the best-recognised pallet networks of couriers in the UK. To ensure you are available for delivery our local depot of Palletline Expect Distribution will contact you by phone to confirm your availability. They are able to delay the deliveries if you need them to, but they will be unable to speed deliveries up. They will always need to speak to you first before delivering, if they cannot contact you the delivery will not happen, they will contact you repeatedly over a 3 day period before referring the delivery back to our sales team. If you are expecting a delivery and you have not heard from the couriers please contact our sales team and we can look into the reasons, please do not just assume the delivery will arrive.
All of our deliveries by Palletline are made using 7.5-tonne vehicles. If there are any deliveries restrictions to your property that will not allow a 7.5-tonne vehicle to reach the property we need to be informed before the delivery to avoid any failed deliveries.
All of our pallet deliveries are a curbside delivery. The drivers are carrying goods from multiple companies not just our deliveries. As a result they are not insured to leave their vehicles to enter your property with the goods. You will need to arrange for someone to be there to check the goods on arrival; for which you have 15 minutes with the driver. You will also need to arrange for someone to move the goods into your property. As mentioned previously, the wooden pallet and frame are part of your order, we would be unable to come and collect the pallet.
If you live in and around the Ripon area we do have a local driver who will contact you to arrange delivery. The goods will not be palletised and the goods can be taken into the property.
Once your delivery arrives it is very important to check the delivery in full as soon as possible. We would love to say that there is never a problem with a delivery, and for 99% of our deliveries that is true, but even with our checks and procedures in place a problem can occur. It is very important to check the goods against your delivery note and your order confirmation to ensure you have received the correct items in the correct quantities. You will also need to check the packaging and open the items and check the goods. If there are any problems and you let us know immediately we can get any issues sorted and you can avoid the disappointment of discovering these problems during installation, and causing an unnecessary costly delay to your project. We appreciate everyone has hectic lives but a quick check of your goods after delivery can make a big difference to how your installation progresses.
