This corner valve shape is also known as a double angled valve. This is because the connection from pipe to radiator is the same as an angled valve, where it comes out the up into the radiator at a 90 degree angle. There is then a second angle as the control angles back to run in-line with the bottom of the radiator, this means that the control does not stick out into the room.
The control is a thermostatic type, this means that you have control over the temperature of the radiator from a selection through 0 (off) to 5 (maximum) number of temperature settings. The Matt Black finish of the valve is contemporary and on-trend for the Black Bathroom look.
