Traditionally, installing a wall hung toilet in front of the wall left you with two options; construct a frame covered with plasterboard or plywood or buy a WC unit. The first option was usually messy and clumsy while the unit came with coloured finishes that may not match your bathroom. This astoundingly simple solution from Wedi allows you to create the unit quickly and without a mess.

The Wedi I-Board is made from hard but lightweight polystyrene foam that can be cut to shape using common tools and makes the perfect DIY project. Holes for the waste, inlet and support bolts are pre-cut and assembly is a simple as measuring, and cutting the pieces necessary and then gluing them together using Wedi's adhesive sealant. Alternatively, the components can be fabricated using stainless steel screws and washers. After the joints have been sealed using the sealing tape, the unit can be tiled immediately allowing you to hang the toilet after a period of approximately 24 hours when the tiling adhesive has completely set. This unique cladding is quick and easy to install and can transform the look of your bathroom in a day.
