Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, we are committed to providing exceptional and safe service for our customers whilst protecting the well-being of our team. Currently, no member of the UK Bathrooms Team have developed the COVID-19 virus and we are doing all we can to ensure that our team is here to help you when making your purchase and for anything you need during and after delivery.
Online sales are increasing amid COVID-19 as we are all wanting to avoid crowded shopping centres and large stores. We are already very busy, and, as people are expected to spend even more and more time at home this will continue, however, be reassured that we currently have no issues with stock from our European suppliers and orders will be dispatched as normal.
Here are some of the steps we have taken, whilst maintaining our service to you:
We work with a variety of delivery partners and networks; all are working to be as safe as possible.
Small Deliveries & Parcels
For small deliveries and parcels, we work with either DPD or APC Overnight, depending on the size and weight of your order. Each company is operating a contactless service where parcels will be delivered to your door, but you are not required to hold or sign for the delivery.
All drivers have been asked to use antibacterial wipes to clean hand-held units between signatures where possible. Both companies are working with their drivers to ensure that their staff are complying with the guidelines provided by the government.
Our pallet deliveries are conducted by the Palletline Network. All deliveries are curb-side and the goods will be left in your driveway. You do not have to worry about anyone entering your property.
Even if you aren't self-isolating, you are now not required to sign for the goods. Your driver can leave the goods on your property for you to unload them safely, without interacting with the driver, which protects you and the driver from spreading the infection.
Our deliveries are sent from a warehouse in Ripon. This has now been closed to the general public and only our staff are working in it. We are monitoring daily official guidance from public health organisations and government agencies and have implemented all recommended precautionary measures to safeguard the health and well-being of our customers and staff.
There have been no reported cases of the virus at UK Bathrooms and we continue to assess this as part of our social distancing measures. We have taken precautionary actions to protect our team and to maintain our service to our customers.
Our offices are now closed to the public, we have implemented a ban on all external meetings and we constantly looking at ways to improve safety for each member of the team on an individual basis. It is important for us to look after every member of staff so they can look after you!
Some of our team are working from home and others are still in the office. We are operating all services as normal and we are here to help in any way we can. As more consumers are preferring to purchase their bathroom online, as opposed to being in front of someone, we are scaling up our staff to meeting the ever-increasing demand so that we can consistently bring you the service we pride ourselves on.
Stock - Don't worry you won't need to stockpile toilet seats just in case...
Overall stock levels across the business are very good. As part of Brexit precautions, this has resulted in us being in a better position to meet the increasing demand for our products. We are working with brands, manufacturers and distributors to ensure products are consistently available.
